Second graders got their acts together and took them “on the road” last week, performing a Reader’s Theater for other students in Lower School. They chose scripts from “The Very Cranky Bear,” “The Stinky Cheese Man,” and “Three Billy Goats Gruff” to read aloud to eager audiences in first and fifth grades. Their dramatic presentations were well-rehearsed and well-received, and highlighted students’ efforts this year to increase their reading fluency, vocabulary, and expression.
