This year’s Time Bash benefit dinner and auction was held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the St. Regis Deer Valley, where we celebrated the Hollywood glamour of 1953. Guests strolled the red carpet, many in vintage dress, and the silent auction and dining rooms were decorated ala movie stars of the period. The real stars, of course, were the families and friends attending, and the parent and student volunteers who worked tirelessly to organize this wonderful event.
Time Bash 1953 began with cocktails, appetizers, and a quick photo op. The Faculty Banned played 50’s jazz tunes while guests browsed and bid on the more than 150 silent auction items displayed. After a delicious dinner and dessert buffet, guests enjoyed a program emceed by Nathan Florence that included a live auction of one-of-a-kind opportunities, a performance from local band High Altitude, a WSD video presentation, and remarks from Board Chair Brad Dicks and Executive Director Cindy Phillips. Dancing on the parquet began and Chris Gawel took over as DJ for the remainder of the evening as guests danced, socialized, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere until the wee hours.
A huge thank you to all who participated in this year’s Time Bash by attending, volunteering, donating, purchasing, and contributing in any way. We are profoundly grateful for all you do — you make the difference at WSD!
