Personal Statement
I enjoy working with some amazing students at WSD, and with caring and capable colleagues in the Special Education department. I am outgoing and love working with children, two traits that have made being a Special Education Aide a good fit for me. I have extensive experience working with children and adults with special needs in both the classroom and home setting, and believe in the importance of compassion, communication, and mutual respect. I value the substantive experience I am gaining at WSD and have a long term goal of becoming a Special Education teacher.
