Personal Statement
It’s great joining the team at Weilenmann! After substitute teaching a variety of grades here, I am excited to join the Special Education team as I work with students who don’t quite fit the typical trajectory in school or who need more of a specific focus for learning and building skills. I began my career as a science teacher for 10 years, then ran a school for Autism Spectrum boys for 8 years at the high school level. It has been rewarding building skills in our WSD students, focusing on their strengths and interests, and recognizing their talents. I enjoy guiding each child’s growth and look forward to all we will accomplish this year.
