Personal Statement
For the past 40 years, I have taught Choir, General Music, Strings, and German in public, private, and charter schools. I am certified as an advanced teacher of violin, viola, cello, and bass in the Suzuki Method. I joined WSD as a founding Music teacher and Department Chair in 2010 and am so excited to be “rebooted” in 2024 as the Band and Chorus teacher! I hope to promote the sheer joy of music education, to bring out the musician in each of my students, and to engage every student at every level. My goal is for all students to have a positive and meaningful experience with music this year.
