Personal Statement
I feel very lucky to be part of a school that cares so much about the musical literacy and success of its students. I have a strong interest in folk, world, and classical music, and am well-trained in the Kodály solfege curriculum. I love being able to share with students my own passion for exploring music “below the surface” through singing, listening, understanding, writing, composing and improvising. When I see students experiencing the pure joy of music, it is the best part of my day!
