As in most public charter schools, government funding covers only about 80% of operating costs. The Annual Fund and other fundraisers help cover the remaining 20%.
A gift to the Annual Fund supports the people and programs that make WSD so special — an expansive academic program, innovative curriculum, master teachers and specialists, student supports, digital learning and literacy, character education, and exceptional offerings in music, art, PE, and the outdoor experience — all reflecting the best research and proven practices in education.
