Board Members

Dallis A. Nordstrom, Board Chair – email hidden; JavaScript is required

Dallis Nordstrom is an accomplished litigator and a partner at the boutique corporate law firm Carman, Lehnhof, Israelsen. During her career she was corporate counsel to a regional construction and development company and this experience is why she was asked to join the board at the time WSD broke ground. For the last eighteen years, Mrs. Nordstrom has acted as a counselor and advisor for various state-wide and municipal campaigns. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah in 2001. While in law school, her team won the National Burton D. Weschler First Amendment Moot Court Competition and she received the award for Best Oralist. She lives Park City, Utah, with her husband and three children, the oldest of whom attends WSD.

Mr. Burke is a management leader in digital media and internet software. He currently serves as General Manager of FatTail, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer at LeadPoint, Inc. and is an advisor to both Boards of Directors. Mr. Burke responsibilities include finance, corporate strategy and development, business development, and marketing. Prior to becoming a digital media entrepreneur, Mr. Burke led the investment banking software and technology practice groups as a Managing Director at Morgan Joseph, Pagemill Partners, Montgomery & Co., and Tucker Anthony Sutro. He served on the board of directors for the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) and The Wellness Community of Los Angeles. He received his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he also holds a B.A. with honors, in Economics and German.

Cindy Levine moved to Park City in 1998 after receiving her BS in Marketing from the University of Utah. Cindy is an interior designer and owns Intrigue, Design by Cindy. Prior to that, she was one of the top-selling agents for Apple Computer. Cindy volunteers as a Hebrew School teacher and was heavily involved with fundraising for scholarships at The Colby School back in 2004. She also volunteers her time in a grass roots movement working with the Emmy nominated film, ‘The Day My God Died,’ that her husband directed to raise funds for the non-profit ‘Friends of Maiti Nepal’. She and her husband Andy have 2 children attending Weilenmann.

Noah Levine moved to Park City in 1994 after receiving his BA in Political Science from American University in Washington DC. He and his wife Jami have 4 children at the Weilenmann School of Discovery. Noah is active in the local community and serves as Chairman of the board for the Park City Museum and serves on the finance committee for the Utah Symphony Utah Opera. Professionally, Noah is Senior Vice President – Investments with Mogul Financial Group at UBS Financial Services in Park City, UT. Prior to joining UBS in 2008, he was Vice President at Wachovia Securities and recipient of the 2002 National Director’s Award from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Michelle Mazzie is a native of Utah and has lived in Park City since 1989. She began her dedicated service to Weilenmann as a founding parent in November 2009, contributing to the Administration Committee before joining the PSTO as V.P. of Communications. As an active PSTO contributor, Michelle helped develop PSTO guidelines, took meeting minutes, organized numerous after school programs and served on the bus and lunch committees. In addition, she volunteered for the WSD Outreach at Little Miners, The Yard & Mountain Life Church and organized the WSD obstacle course for the YMCA Healthy Kids Day.

Michelle has been the in-house travel agent for the United States Ski & Snowboard Association since 1996. Michelle, her husband Paul and son Zach – a 3rd grader at WSD – are avid outdoor people who love to snowboard, ski, hike, bike, camp and enjoy all that Park City has to offer.

Robert Neubecker – email hidden; JavaScript is required

Robert Neubecker joined the Board of Trustees in January 2010, just after ground was broken for the school and had the pleasure of helping to hire Mary Kimball and Cindy Phillips. Robert is a widely published professional Illustrator and the author and illustrator of more than twenty books for children. He is currently on the staff of Slate.com and has freelanced for The New York Times since 1974. He holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design,’75. Robert moved to Utah in 1994 from Manhattan for the skiing and stayed for the summers. He lives in Park City with his wife, Dr. Ruth Zimmer, and their two children, Izzy and Jo, both of whom attend Weilenmann.

Kirstie Rosenfield – email hidden; JavaScript is required

Kirstie Rosenfield is a professional theatre director based in Park City, UT. She has been the Artistic Director of two theatres: Utah Contemporary Theatre, which she founded in Salt Lake City, and the Man in the Moon Theatre in London, where she developed the Women in the Moon Repertory season. She directs locally, regionally and internationally. Kirstie was an Assistant Professor at Utah State University where she taught directing, contemporary theatre and dramatic literature, and she has taught graduate directing at the University of Utah. She received her BA from Cornell University, her MA from the University of Lancaster in England, and her PhD from Stanford University.

Kirstie has two children at the Weilenmann School of Discovery, and one at the Winter Sports School. She has served on the Grant Writing Committee at the McGillis School and on the Strategic Planning and Fundraising Committees at the Salt Lake City JCC. She loves to ski and camp with her husband, her three boys and her Portuguese water dog.

Peter Smaha – email hidden; JavaScript is required

Peter is an award-winning writer, creative director and DGA director in television and advertising. He moved to Park City with his wife and son in 2008 after selling his LA-based advertising agency, Quigley-Simpson. Prior to that, he was a television writer for CBS as well as freelance writer, with produced credits ranging from MTV to PBS. He started his advertising career in NYC, culminating in being named Executive Vice-President for Saatchi & Saatchi/BSB in New York & Los Angeles.

His son Tyler attends the Weilenmann School of Discovery.
