They say that inside each book is a whole world. Well, there was a whole world of books at the WSD Spring Book Fair! Readers had over 1800 titles to choose from, provided by our long-time local book provider, The Story Cupboard. Books covered a variety of genres and popular series, award winners, Beehive Book Award nominees, activity books, book lover accessories, and more!
This year we were pleased to host Mark Maziarz, award-winning photographer and WSD dad, who signed copies of the beautiful coffee table book, Park City: A Portrait, for students and parents. Mark spent the entire morning with students and staff signing books and answering questions about some of the individual photographs in the book and what inspired them.
WSD Book Fairs are favorite occasions in our school community. What could be more exciting than rows and rows of brand new books? Book Fairs also allow us to add hundreds of new titles to our library collection. Thanks to all who supported the Spring Book Fair this year!
