The entire WSD community gathered to celebrate the 16th annual Spring Arts Festival on May 28. Families enjoyed original student art on display as well as for purchase or bid, live music and dance performances from students and staff, a live auction of student class art projects, a silent auction of creative baskets, donated art, gift certificates, student experiences, and more, all for a great cause!
A huge thank you to all who supported the 2026 Spring Arts Festival. Special thanks to organizer Susannah Barnes and the dedicated parent volunteers who set every detail in place; to Elizabeth Phillips and Cam Raguse for co-emceeing the event; to WSD Art teachers Naomi Kohl and Abby Ringquist whose vision inspired impressive student artworks; to teachers and parent volunteers for amazing class projects; to all who practiced endlessly to provide dance and music performances; to our outstanding student tech crew that ensured we had lights and sound; to Mountain Berry Bowls for fueling the fun; to the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, which partners with us in providing enriching arts experiences for students and teachers; to the kind-hearted donors who contributed gift baskets, services, experiences, memberships, and more; and to the generous families in attendance who made purchases and donations that helped us raise nearly $28,000 for WSD! Your presence at the Festival allowed us to showcase your children’s creative accomplishments for the year and provided a beautiful send-off for the summer!
