It’s September, and that means Middle School PE students are paddleboarding at Jordanelle Reservoir! With smaller crowds and great weather, WSD students will enjoy three weeks at the reservoir – a tradition begun 17 years ago. Trent Hickman, paddle expert and owner of Park City SUP, is teaching students who are brand new to the sport as well as challenging more experienced paddlers.
“At Weilenmann, our Middle School ‘Adventure PE’ program allows students to engage in unique athletic activities and sports,” explains Cam Raguse, program director. “We leverage local organizations, such as Park City SUP, to provide students with experiences many have never had before. From paddleboarding to rock climbing to snowboarding – our students do it all!”
