We are pleased to announce that Gov. Gary R. Herbert has appointed Cindy Phillips to the Utah State Charter School Board.
The announcement was made from the Governor’s office today. The Utah State Charter School Board is appointed by the Governor and consists of seven members, two who have finance or business management experience, three who have charter school experience, and two members nominated by the Utah State Board of Education.
Cindy adds this appointment to her ongoing role as WSD Executive Director and MS Latin Teacher, as well as to other assignments she currently fulfills at the Utah State Board of Education. We look forward to the positive contribution she will make to Utah charter schools.
