Personal Statement
I was privileged to join Weilenmann School of Discovery in its first year and to contribute to the development of the Middle School English curriculum. I love engaging students in reading, guiding them to great books, and helping them establish the habits of lifelong readers and prolific writers. As Middle School Dean, I work with a passionate and talented faculty who are united in helping students to learn well, and with remarkable students who often amaze me with their mature insights. Our shared engagement in learning as a way of life is what continues to motivate and inspire me.
