A Summit Summer Send-Off

Weilenmann School of Discovery ushered in a new school year with its first “Summit Summer Send-Off” event, a family-friendly celebration at the action-packed Woodward Park City. The gathering welcomed families, students, and community members from across the state to say goodbye to summer with an evening of adventure, entertainment, and community connection. The event included full access to Woodward’s facilities, live music by Jake and The Heist, a buffet dinner and drinks, door prizes and a silent auction, virtual appearance by Olympic mountain bike racer Haley Batten, and sponsors of family-friendly experiences available in Summit County.

Event organizers Beth Rossie and Susannah Barnes envisioned a true community event that would draw families from across Summit County as well as visiting out-of-towners.

“Our collaboration with Woodward was, of course, the best idea for it! We couldn’t be more pleased by the response from the community!”

Be sure to check out more from the Park Record about the event.
