Weilenmann Goes West!

WSD’s annual benefit dinner and auction was held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the St. Regis Deer Valley. This year’s theme was “The Wild West” and invited folks to kick up their heels for WSD! Guests donned their finest duds and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and two photo booths as they browsed and bid on over 50 silent auction items.

Once in the Astor Ballroom, a plated dinner was served while guests played Cowboy Bingo for prizes. Emcee Kevin Gersh began the program by introducing remarks from WSD’s Board Chair, Jason Glidden, followed by Interim Director Scott Stewart. Singer-songwriter Josh Kelley thrilled us with a performance of three songs, showcasing his incredible talent and generous heart. A lively Live Auction followed, and some honest-to-goodness line dancing finished off the evening.

A huge thank you to all who participated by attending, volunteering, donating, purchasing, and contributing in any way to a wonderful event that raised important funds for WSD. Special thanks to Susannah Barnes, WSD’s Director of Development, for putting together a great evening and bringing “The Wild West” to life.
