Personal Statement

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to engage students with activities and sports that build skills, strengthen bodies, and add to health and wellbeing. Physical Education is a vital part of every student’s success, not only in the classroom but throughout life. This year we will learn how to work together, face challenges, learn from defeat, and build social skills. And it’s going to be fun! This is my 11th year teaching at WSD. My background includes Special Education, Recreation, and Outdoor Education, all in a variety of settings. I feel lucky to work with a talented team that is dedicated to making school a place where all students can thrive.
