Personal Statement
I was first drawn to this school because of its holistic approach to teaching, especially its focus on the liberal arts and reading. I have a background in academic and public libraries, where I loved leading workshops and helping with early reading programs for young patrons. I have also worked as a content writer and editor. At WSD, I am thrilled to be teaching Middle School students in English and CCA, where I try to provide content that is interactive and engaging, and that will foster critical thinking. I love my time in the classroom connecting with students, meeting their individual needs and strengths, and sharing in the educational experiences unique to WSD’s program.
