Personal Statement
I was born into a musical family. My love of Music and Theatre was nurtured by concert attendance of many performances at a very early age. I became a student of both piano and flute, and participated in musical theatre. I love sharing my passion for music and musical theatre performance – it is a privilege and a personal joy to pass on what I have learned and absorbed. In Band, I love introducing many types of music, including Classical, Jazz, Funk and Latin. I love teaching at Weilenmann School of Discovery, because it places a high value on music education and allows students to experience the joy of music-making.
