So much depends on our faithful volunteers. Thank you, PSTO, for all the time you give! If you have not signed up for a volunteer opportunity yet, give it a try. It’s a great way to get to know the school, its programs, and our Weilenmann community. Here’s what’s going on:
Lunchroom Volunteers
To keep the lunchroom a smooth operation, we need two parent volunteers daily from approximately 10:30am – 1pm.
Weilenmann School of Discovery has Liz on staff as our lunchroom manager daily, so parents support Liz by helping to serve food, clean tables, and monitor the trash and recycling area so that the kids know where their lunch items go.
After lunch, there is some clean up involved…wiping down table and putting them away, and sweeping the floor. Middle School students will be helping after lunch daily as part of their Community Service, so it goes rather quickly.
If you have signed up and find you cannot help out on your assigned day, PLEASE remove your name on Sign-Up Genius. If it’s at the last minute, PLEASE find a replacement or call me, Margo Fenton (435)640-2275 so we don’t leave Liz in a lurch.
At any time, if you’re at the school during 11am – 1pm, any walk-in help is welcome, even if it’s just for a few minutes!

Reception Desk Volunteers
WSD Reception Desk Volunteers are needed every day M-F from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Volunteers will be answering phones, writing tardy slips and making photo-copies.
We also need help anytime on Wednesdays to help get the Friday folders ready.

School Photos Volunteers
School Photos will be taken on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are using a new vendor and need parent volunteers to help usher the children in and out of their photo sessions, straighten collars, and tidy up hair. Please sign up to volunteer for a 2.5 hour shift.
